Nitrous Oxide & Oral Sedation in Middletown, IN

Feeling nervous about the dentist? That’s completely normal. We get it, some people avoid dental visits altogether because of anxiety. At Middletown Family Dentistry, we try to make things easier. No lectures.

No pressure. Just care, on your terms.

We offer two safe ways to help you feel more relaxed during your appointment.

Laughing Gas (Nitrous Oxide)

You breathe it in through a mask, and after a few minutes, you’ll start to feel calmer. You’re still awake, just more at ease. Once we’re done, the effects fade quickly and you’re back to normal. Most people can drive themselves home afterward and proceed with their day as usual.

Oral Sedation

This option is a combination of pills you take before your visit. It helps take the edge off and makes things feel less stressful. You might feel a bit sleepy or not remember much of the visit. It’s stronger than laughing gas, so you’ll need someone to drive you home.  No working or heavy lifting after, just rest!

We’re Not Here To Judge

Some folks haven’t been to the dentist in years. That’s okay. We’re just glad you’re here now. If you’ve had bad experiences in the past, or if the whole idea of dental work makes you uneasy, let us know. We’ll take it one step at a time.

Located in Middletown, IN, our office is built around patient comfort. Sedation is just one more way we help make visits easier.
